| Tuesday 9:00AM A / B 20 Miles Bridgework Special
1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday: Palm Valley Bridge Meet at the Gate Station at 10968 U.S.1 North. The 5.5m ride to the Palm Valley Bridge over the Intercoastal will be our warmup where, after a brief stretching session, we will do bridge repeats, the number of and intensity to be determined by each participant. Upon completion we'll all ride the 5.5 miles back for a cooldown. Approximate mileage: 20. The purpose of this ride is to improve your overall conditioning and your climbing ability.
2nd and 4th Tuesday: Acosta Bridge Meet at the Boone Park tennis courts at 3730 Park St. The 3.5 mile ride to the Acosta bridge will be our warmup where, after a brief stretching session, we will do bridge repeats, the number of and intensity to be determined by each participant. Upon completion we'll all ride the 3.5 miles back plus whatever is necessary to give us an approximate mileage of 20. The purpose of this ride is to improve your overall conditioning and your climbing ability.
This ride is intended for all level of riders. The number of repeats you do is left to your discretion

| TUESDAY - 8.30 AM, A/B, 37 Miles 32250Jacksonville Beach. Sandcastle Beaches Ride. Start in the parking lot across from the new Home Depot in Jacksonville Beach. This is on A1A, just north of JTB in Jacksonville Beach. As you pass the Outback, turn left and look for my yellow Xterra. We will ride south on Ponte Vedra Blvd., cross A1A at Mickler to the 210 bridge over the intracoastal, back over the bridge, south on A1A (with the new bike lane),and back up PV Blvd to the start. From there, we ride up San Jose Boulevard to downtown, over the Acosta bridge and into Riverside. Cross the Acosta two or more times for some climbing skills. The circular route includes the neighborhoods of Argyle, Bent Creek, and Oakleaf Plantation as well as some of the few remaining rural areas in this part of Jacksonville. Directions to Winn Dixie in Argyle: From I295 and Blanding, South on Blanding 0.3 miles, West (right) onto Argyle Forest Blvd 3.5 miles, left into Winn Dixie Parking Lot. | 1st Saturday Every Month 8:00am Time Trials (10m Course, 16m Total)SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Westside. Meet at the eastern end of the Jacksonville to Baldwin Rails to Trail at 1804 Imeson Rd and be ready to roll at 8:00am. A 3 mile warmup ride will take you to the time trial start on Pritchard Rd. just west of Bulls Bay Highway. The Ride Leader (RL) will release riders at 2 minute intervals after zeroing their computers. After all riders have departed he will then cross Bulls Bay Highway and wait for riders to finish, just east of the highway on Pritchard Rd. The RL will record all times at the finish and the rider's age on the ride sheet. Results will be published in the next issue of Wheelspeak.
The 10 mile time trial map can be downloaded below (click on "read more..."). The time trial course is for fun and practice and includes all righthand turns. Do not risk your life to save a few seconds. DRAFTING IS PROHIBITED!
