Event Rules: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class. Your bike should be in good mechanical condition, including brakes and dereilleurs. Please bring a spare tube and equipment for inflating a tire (in case of a flat tire during class)
Cancellation Policy:

Conducted in a parking lot, this is a set of on-bike drills designed to increase control and comfort: By the end of the session the bikes will be a lot smarter and their owners will be their masters. Skills include:

  • Start/Stop, Power Pedal and Balance Stop
  • Snail Race, Slow-speed Balance
  • Drag-race, Gears & Acceleration
  • Ride straight, one-handed
  • Shoulder Sheck & Looking Back Safely
  • Object-avoudance Handling
  • Turning: Slow-speed Tight Turns; High-speed Cornering; Emergency Snap-turn
  • Emergency braking (without going over the handlebars)

Registration: While not required for NFBC, registration is required with Florida Bicycle Association. Please Email Jeff Hohlstein at Jeff@BAfirstcoast.org or call him at the above phone number, to sign up.

Cost: $30 is for this individual session, or you may sign up for the three-course package for $75 ($15 package purchase savings)
