Join the NFBC and other cyclist to celebrate the life of LT. CMDR JIM WARMOWSKI, a 20 year NAVY veteran, who was tragically struck and killed JULY 14, 2002. He was riding US 17, South of Green Cove Springs, training for a triathalon. The 42 mile ride (with 23 or 34 mile options) will start at the Winn Dixie on CR 220 and head south for 11 miles as a group. After a ceremony, the ride u-turns to CR 209. Then it goes south to Decoy road, back up US 17 and some back roads to complete the ride. This ride over the years has attracted over 300 cyclists hoping to bring the attention to motorists and the public at large that cyclist do still exist on the roads. We implore folks to share the road. Ride leaders for each distance will be determined at ride start. Contact Troy Kress at RideDirector@nfbc.us for more info. NFBC Ride waiver to be signed.
