NFBC is planning another Tour de Springs biking/camping trip. The trip will be for 7 days and 6 nights beginning October 12, 2014 and ending October 18, 2014.
Average daily distance: 50 Miles/Day (Total 360 Miles in 7 Days. Shortest Day 31 Miles - Longest Day 63 Miles. ) This ride is appropriate for all levels of riders. If you can ride the distance, your speed is not important.
The trip is designed for self-supported touring cyclists; however, many non-touring cyclists have requested that we do the trip with a SAG vehicle so that they could participate. This year we are able to do that. There is only one SAG vehicle so space for non-self-supported touring cyclists will be limited. If you are serious about attending this event and have not already done so, please contact Larry Elswick at tds2014@aol.com http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/?o=Sh&doc_id=6163&v=KW.
The cutoff date for responding is September 1, 2014. Camping reservations will be made at that time and money collected from participants to cover the cost. Instead of going into detail about the trip here, please go to the following website that will detail daily mileages and specific camping sites for each day - . Note: Club points and mileage will be awarded for this ride.
