Rotary Bike Ride
Attendees pay for their own charges
Hosted by Rotary Club of Green Cove Springs, the ride will take place Saturday, August 20, 2013, in Fleming Island, FL. The staging area is Hibernia Baptist Church on Hwy 17. There is plenty of parking and a local bike shop to get the last minute items needed for the ride. This ride will consist of either a 29 or 67 mile rural route through southern Clay County along safe roads. All the money raised will go toward the local charities which the GCS Rotary supports (scholarships, food pantry, local schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and more). All money raised stays in local charities. Fully supported SAGS with restroom facilities along the route (SAG vehicles), BBQ lunch at the end of the ride and a massage therapist on hand to work out the kinks (she works for tips). T-shirts, and water bottles for participants (while they last).
Early registration is $40 until August 7th
$45 until August 19th
$50 day of the event
Ivette Berrios-Lewis, Charity Ride Team Captain will have ride sheet. Look for her when you sign-in for ride. Remember to wear your NFBC jersey to receive points/mileage.
