Our speaker is Dan Cadwell, Program Specialist at Brooks Rehabilitation for their Adaptive Sports and Recreation Program.
The program was created in 2007 as a resource for individuals living with physical disabilities to enjoy the benefits of social, physical, and emotional health and well being through ongoing activities.
The program provides a variety of weekly activities as well as sponsoring educational clinics and sporting event competitions with athletes holding national and world champion titles and Paralympic status.
They sponsor a weekly ride on the Jacksonville Baldwin Rail Trail every Thursday at 9:00 AM starting at Camp Milton, 1225 Halsema Road N Jacksonville, FL 32220. There are volunteer opportunities to help with the ride.
We will have a special presentation to honor Don Eipert and Jim Smith , past Endless Summer Watermelon Ride Event Directors.
Brian Reyes will have sizing kit for Tour de Forts jersey and Club swag available for sale. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
Arrive at 6:30 PM and enjoy dinner with your cycling friends. In addition to the Mudville Grille's usual menu, there will be some specials. Or just come for the meeting at 7:30 PM.
