Registration is not Required
NFBC members only ride. Non-members may try 3 NFBC rides before joining. You must sign the ride waiver to participate in the ride and to earn club points and mileage. There will be a Safety Briefing Meeting 10 minutes before the start of the ride. Please arrive at the starting point early enough to get set up before the pre-ride meeting. Helmets required on all NFBC rides.
About this event
This is an excellent ride for new cyclists. Distance should be approximately 30 miles. We normally average 12-14 mph with two stops. Bring two bottles of water/gator-aide to stay hydrated. Bring a spare tube for your specific tires just in case you get a flat tire. Please note: At certain places we may ride a faster pace than listed, but no rider will be left. THIS IS A NO DROP RIDE!! If you haven't ridden at this pace or distance you may want to practice on one of the paved bikes trails first.
This is one of the Club's most favorite rides.
After the ride join other riders at the TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE for a smoothie, sandwich or some coffee. Order what you want and then join us at the outside seating.
