NFBC members only ride. Non-members may test 3 NFBC rides before joining. You must sign the ride waiver to participate in the ride and to earn club points and mileage. There will be a Safety Briefing Meeting 10 minutes before the start of the ride. Please arrive at the starting point early enough to get set up before the pre-ride meeting. Helmets required on all NFBC rides.
About this event
This is an excellent ride for new cyclists. Distance should be approximately 30 miles. We normally average 12-14 mph with two stops. Bring two bottles of water/Gatorade to stay hydrated. Bring a spare tube for your specific tires just in case you get a flat tire. Please note: At certain places we may ride a faster pace than listed, but no rider will be left. THIS IS A NO DROP RIDE!! If you haven't ridden at this pace or distance you may want to practice on one of the paved bikes trails first.
