What is this?
This is a ride starting at the Elkton Post office late in the afternoon. You will ride on low traffic, scenic back roads in daylight, to Palatka, where we will be stopping for dinner while the sun sets. The options for dinner nearest the bridge are: Subway, Mariachilies (Mexican) or Angels diner (for the more adventurous). After eating, we will ride exclusively on the trail, in the dark, back to the Elkton PO.
A good headlight and tail light is required for this ride as it may be quite dark on the return. A blinkie light for the rear is recommended (only on the way out, as it will blind the riders behind you at night on the trail) This is a no drop A/B & C ride. We will be stopping as a group for dinner (approx. time 45 to 60 mins.) You will be getting back to your vehicle somewhere around 10:00 pm. So plan accordingly. Ride Leader: Terry Takken Alternate: Bob Fortney
