Registration is not Required
NFBC members only ride. Non-members may test 3 NFBC rides before joining. You must sign the ride waiver to participate in the ride and to earn club points and mileage. There will be a Safety Briefing Meeting 10 minutes before the start of the ride. Please arrive at the starting point early enough to get set up before the pre-ride meeting. Helmets required on all NFBC rides.
About this event
No hammering, smiles/kindness required. We ride north thru neighborhoods and bike paths (new DOT bike paths with our own bike bridges !) at +/- 14-18 mph up to Amelia Island. No matter your speed, we regroup every 6-7 miles at Ferry (bring $2 for tolls), Little Talbot State Park, and Amelia Island State Park. We may split ointo A/B/C groups for the 12 miles back to the ferry. You do you, no one rides alone. Very beautiful ride.
Park by tennis court end of city hall.
Optional post ride lunch.
