You must sign the ride sheet/waiver to participate in the ride and to earn club points and mileage. There will be a Safety Briefing Meeting 10 minutes before the start of the ride. Please arrive at the starting point early enough to get set up before the pre-ride meeting. Helmets required on all NFBC rides. Pleasr wear your NFBC jersey.

Join us as partner with the City of Jacksonville to celebrate Bike to Work Day and help us promote bike commuting, safety and access.
 
We will start at various bike shops (see schedule below) around the City and ride as a group, converging at Times Union Center where we will be joined by Mayor Brown and then bike to Hemming Park for a brief ceremony with remarks from the Mayor.
 
Light refreshments will be provided at Hemming Park.
 
Although there is no registration fee, we ask that you pre-register so that we can get an idea of attendance. Non-members welcome.
 
Though not required, we hope you wear your NFBC jersey to visibly demonstrate our support for this event to the Mayor, public and press.

West route starting at Lakeshore Bicycles
  • Lakeshore Bicycles (2108 Blanding Blvd.) start-7:00 AM
  • Open Road Avondale (3544 St. Johns Ave.) start-7:15 AM
  • City Cycle (2740 Park St.) start-7:30 AM

East route starting at Open Road San Marco

  • Open Road San Marco (4460 Hendricks Ave.) start-7:30 AM

Both groups will meet at Times Union Center by 8:00 AM where we will be joined by Mayor Brown

 
Hemming Park ceremonies start-8:30 AM
